2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account or purchase a course on the CCS platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

2.2 Accurate Information

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and must update it promptly if it changes.

2.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You must:

  • Not share your account login with any other person
  • Not allow any other person to access courses through your account
  • Notify us immediately at info@corporate.co.ke if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

CCS is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account credentials.

2.4 One Account Per Person

Each individual learner may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, obtain multiple access grants or abuse promotional offers is prohibited and will result in account termination without refund.

3. Course Access and Enrolment

3.1 Lifetime Access

Upon successful payment for a course, you are granted lifetime access to the course content for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. This access is:

  • Personal and non-transferable — access cannot be transferred to another person
  • Subject to the platform remaining operational (see Section 3.5)
  • Revocable if you violate these Terms

3.2 Access Commencement

Course access is granted immediately upon confirmation of payment. For M-Pesa payments, access is typically activated within 30 seconds of payment confirmation. For card payments, access is activated upon Paystack confirmation.

3.3 Permitted Use

Your course access entitles you to:

  • Watch, read and interact with all course content personally
  • Take module quizzes and the final examination
  • Download course resources marked as downloadable
  • Access the course on any personal device (phone, tablet, computer)
  • Take the course at your own pace with no time limit

3.4 Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Share your login to allow others to access a course you purchased
  • Record, download or reproduce video lesson content
  • Distribute, sell or sublicense course content to any third party
  • Use course content to create competing learning materials
  • Bypass, circumvent or disable any digital rights management or access controls

3.5 Platform Availability

CCS aims to maintain continuous platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance (typically with advance notice) or experience unavoidable downtime. We are not liable for temporary unavailability. In the unlikely event of permanent platform discontinuation, we will provide a minimum of 90 days' notice and arrange for certificate records to be maintained.

3.6 Course Content Updates

CCS reserves the right to update, improve and modify course content. We strive to keep content current and relevant. In rare cases, a course may be retired — enrolled users will be notified and offered an equivalent alternative or refund.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices displayed on the CCS platform are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable VAT. International users may see USD pricing on the payment page depending on their selected payment method.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

  • M-Pesa — via Safaricom Daraja STK Push (Safaricom numbers only)
  • Visa / Mastercard — processed securely via Paystack
  • Paystack — USSD, bank transfer and other Paystack-supported methods
  • Bank Transfer — for corporate accounts (invoice issued on request)

4.3 Payment Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • An email confirmation with your receipt and course access details
  • An M-Pesa or card transaction reference number
  • A VAT invoice (available on request for corporate purchasers)

4.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails or is not confirmed, course access will not be granted. If your M-Pesa account was debited but access was not granted, contact us at info@corporate.co.ke with your transaction reference within 48 hours and we will resolve it within one business day.

4.5 Pricing Changes

CCS reserves the right to change course prices at any time. Price changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.

5. Certification and Assessment

5.1 Pass Mark

All CCS courses require a pass mark of 70% on the final examination (50 multiple-choice questions) to receive a certificate. The pass mark is non-negotiable.

5.2 Exam Attempts

You have unlimited retake attempts on all examinations. There is no additional charge for retakes. We encourage you to review the course content before retaking an exam.

5.3 Academic Integrity

You agree to complete all assessments personally and honestly. The following constitute academic dishonesty and will result in certificate revocation and account termination:

  • Sharing exam questions with other users
  • Having another person complete your examination
  • Using unauthorised aids during timed assessments (where applicable)
  • Attempting to access answer keys or circumvent the assessment system

5.4 Certificate Authenticity

Each certificate carries a unique certificate ID and QR verification code. CCS and Global Leadership Institute maintain permanent records of all certificates issued. Certificates may be verified by employers and institutions using the QR code or by contacting us.

5.5 Certificate Revocation

CCS reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it is established that it was obtained through academic dishonesty, payment fraud or misrepresentation.

6. Corporate Accounts

Organisations using CCS's corporate portal agree to the following additional terms:

  • Corporate account holders are responsible for ensuring all enrolled employees comply with these Terms
  • Progress and completion data for enrolled employees may be shared with designated corporate account administrators
  • Corporate invoices are payable within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Discount pricing is conditional on the agreed minimum number of enrolments being completed within the agreement period
  • CCS is NITA-accredited — we will provide documentation to support NITA levy reimbursement applications upon request

  • Materially breach any provision of these Terms
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Engage in academic dishonesty
  • Use the platform in any unlawful manner
  • Engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the platform

We will provide notice before termination where possible. For serious violations (e.g. fraud, abuse), we may terminate accounts immediately without notice or refund.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be referred to mediation in Nairobi, and thereafter to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
